The Museum on Main Pleasanton
The museum was created in 1963. It was created by a group of local residents who wanted to preserve the unique and rich history of the famous Livermore Valley. It is an excellent place for adults and kids alike. The Museum on Main Pleasanton is an excellent place to visit. This is because they usually change up the exhibitions. The best thing is that you and your kids will always learn something new by visiting this museum.
The exhibits are intriguing and enchanting, and they usually host traveling exhibitions too! Did you know that the historical artifacts collection at the museum is now up to around ten thousand objects? Isn’t that amazing! The collection includes more than 3,500 photographs as well as 2,500 other documents. So, there is a lot to see and experience!
The Dublin Heritage Park and Museums
Did you know that the Dublin Heritage Center often holds an archival collection that expertly documents the rich history of Dublin, California? Note that this collection is great as it provides a record of some of the earliest families in Dublin, including the Dougherty, Murray, Kolb, and Fallon families.
The Dublin Heritage Park and Museums is a ten-acre park and has many historic buildings and lawns. It also has a cemetery, and many picnic areas. It is an excellent place for families. Emerald Glen Park
You may have heard of Emerald Glen Park. The park is located conveniently at Tassajara Road and Central Parkway on about forty acres of pristine and gorgeous community parkland. You will be happy to know that the park will also be expanded in several phases, eventually encompassing 48.2 acres. Your kids will like this park as they can engage in various outdoor activities. It is also perfect for romantic walks, where you may be able to spot some of the unique and beautiful birdlife.

Mission Hills Park
This is another excellent park for kids. Mission Hills Park is a typical neighborhood park, except that it has a very long metal slide carefully built into the hill. Your preschool children will love this slide – and it’s probably most suitable for kids three and up. The scenery at the park lends itself to diversity. Also, with the changing seasons, beautiful swathes of colorful and pretty wildflowers bloom under clear skies.
The park is mainly surrounded by homes and has several entry points. You will also find some basketball courts. This is one of the best places to come for serenity and adventure in equal helpings. And the Mission Hills Park is also popular with families and groups who visit throughout the year.
