The Firehouse Arts Center is undoubtedly one of the best places in Pleasanton! This is because it offers plenty of different performances, and there is always something for everyone. 

When you arrive in Pleasanton, make sure that you check out the latest calendar of events in order to see what is happening at the exciting Firehouse Arts Center. And whether you are into film, live music, theatre, or comedy acts, there is something for all at this grand 220-seat venue.

Note that each season, a diverse and entertaining lineup of local as well as national touring acts makes its way to the Firehouse stage. First Wednesday Night Street Party

It is worth noting that this is a relatively new addition to the Pleasanton Downtown Association’s extensive list of attractions and summer events. You will like this party for several reasons. Note that the First Wednesday Night Party fair is certainly a straight-up block party that people love.

Every first Wednesday right from May to August, the organizers block off a section of Main Street. The street is packed with music equipment, food trucks, and vendor booths. Did you know that each month has a different theme, such as a Cinco de Mayo celebration? So, grab some food, grab a drink, and join this fantastic party.

See the Granizo Art Mural

This is another great attraction in Pleasanton. Granizo Art Mural is one of the best community art displays in downtown Pleasanton. It was produced by the talented artist Guillermo Wagner Granizo.  You can view the piece in multiple ways. It tells the story of the area and its colorful and vibrant past.

Did you know that the murals depict four different perspectives of the region’s heritage? These are agriculture, history, filmmaking, and commerce. They are incredibly significant for the community because it was among the last pieces that Granizo produced before he died.

The mural is designed and meant to give valuable insight into the region’s agricultural, commercial, historical, and film-production contributions.

Visit the Stoneridge Mall

There is no doubt that Stoneridge Shopping Center has been a trendy hangout spot for Pleasantonians since its opening in 1980. Today, this trendy two-level shopping mall has 165 stores, such as Nordstrom, H&M, Apple, and Mrs. Fields Cookies. Stoneridge is excellent as it also offers some amazing chain restaurant options, such as California Pizza Kitchen and the Cheesecake Factory.
